Several years ago, I decided that my future in the restaurant business would most likely not remain in the realm of fine dining and gourmands, but would rather lean towards the style of restaurant that I found myself frequenting most often - places that provided consistency and quality at a price that was fair for the quality of the food and experience. Public House plays to the comforts of good, solid food, while applying the principles of premium food products to a more casual setting. You will find all the fish is delivered from Foley’s in Boston, high quality steaks and a rotating selection of vegetable sides that are true to the region and season. You’ll also find a really good hamburger and fish sandwich, along with fun snacks and small plates that pair well with cocktails, beer and wine.

Incredible environment. Delicious drinks. The BEST Caesar salad I’ve ever ordered. The NY strip was flavorful but not as tender as I hoped. I will be back!

Everything was wonderful. The staff is very friendly and very accommodating. It was my second Christmas Tea with my daughter inlaw and my granddaughters. We all had a lovely time.

Delicious! The flavors were amazing. Loved the crab special with the most amazing sauce. Order the golden beets for a fresh and light side. The strip with chimichurri was fantastic as well. Highly recommend!

Our server was amazing! She probably filled my glass of tea (very good tea btw) at least 7 times! Me and my date got the garlic steak with fries and mashed potatoes! Everything was amazing including dessert!

STIR is famous for craft cocktails. Everything was perfect! The food was delicious. The cocktail was wonderful and seasonal and they were able to also make one non-alcoholic. The staff was friendly and efficient. The manager spoke with us and when he learned we were celebrating our anniversary he comped our dessert. We had a fantastic experience and will definitely be returning!

Took whole family, they really enjoyed the variety of food and quality. I was unable to eat anything due to food allergies, which wasn't ideal. Left multiple messages at the restaurant with no call back over past month to see if I could order from menu, so I brought the family hoping their would be some options, but there were not, so I had an ice tea while everyone else ate. Our server was great and advised me appropriately that it was not safe.
