SABOR Restaurant provides a rustic yet elegant atmosphere and a menu rich in European tradition—Portuguese, Spanish, French & Italian—in the heart of Downtown and the ICE District.

OceanWise certified, we offer Edmonton’s best, most-sustainable seafood menu as well as a meat & vegetarian options.

Professional staff, an award-winning wine list, hand-crafted cocktails, and SABOR’s menu & atmosphere make it the perfect spot. So come down in your evening wear before the opera, a suit before the big meeting, or in jeans before a game at the arena.

In-house made cakes can be made with 48 hours advance notice, and can only be made by calling 780-757-1114. We do not allow outside cakes to be brought into the restaurant.

BODEGA Tapas Bar is a casual setting seated on a walk-in basis only. A great stop before or after a movie or show at one of the nearby theaters, BODEGA serves authentic tapas, our signature Sangria, and superb wine & cocktails.

    Another amazing experience at Sabor. Came in at 9:15pm and the place was full and had a great vibe. Chicken and Sausage Paella was absolutely amazing, one of my favorite dishes!

    Met an old friend for dinner. Food was excellent. I had the calamari and prawns starter, which thankfully I was able to share as the serving was very generous. For my main, I had the Three Boars which proved yo be more than I could possibly eat. I particularly enjoyed the boar cheeks. We enjoyed a bottle of the Quinta do Crasto Old Vines Blend, which was excellent. It was a treat to have a good selection of Portuguese and Spanish wines.

    We had a lovely evening until the table beside us was seated .. loud voices and offensive language forced us to leave quicker then we would have liked .

    What a wonderful experience! This was our first time at Sabor and I can't say enough about the quality of the food or the expert wait staff. Our waiter took great pride in guiding us through the menu and in assisting us to making selections that best met our interests. When the food arrived, we were treated to a glorious culinary adventure befitting this wonderful restaurant. If you haven't been, go, you will not be disappointed. The tenderloin and the Halibut & Shrimp dishes were particularly worth the visit. It was clear to us that the people who work for Sabor are very proud of their establishment and went out of their way to ensure that we enjoyed our time at Sabor. For example, despite how busy the restaurant was this evening, another waiter took us on a quick tour of the restaurant simply because we had shown interest in seeing more of the beautiful decor.The atmosphere felt like we were in a divine home in Portugal being treated by friends to a home-cooked and locally-sourced delectable meal. This is a must visit in Edmonton!

    We were served by Josh and he was amazing!! He gave us a lot of recommendations on what to order and what pairs best with what. Food was delicious, we ordered from their Tapas selection and they were all amazing. The dessert trio was also delish! Had a great dinner date experience. I will definitely be back!
