   Top tier dining. Duck confit starter sublime. Chocolate soufflé worth the wait. Reasonable wine list (some relative bargains). Dover sole had a delicious beurre noisette, but would have been more tender if poached instead of grilled. Wonderful belated Valentine’s dinner!

   The renovated Salt is a beautiful experience. Light colors and fabulous light fixtures and creative flower arrangements set the scene for an exquisite meal. The menu is diverse and the food preparation is nothing you will find anywhere else. Attentive a knowledgeable servers completed the experience.

   It was very very cold in the dinning room. We were sat in a room in the very back of the restaurant that only had one other table that was occupied- not a good balance of patrons.

   We were expecting excellence and were not disappointed! We were celebrating our 30 yr anniversary and the staff made sure it was memorable. Oysters on the half shell and tuna tartare started our meal, and the Dover Sole and Wagyu steak were our entrees, followed by soufflés. Everything was excellent; just what we were hoping for our celebration. Highly recommend!

   We had an elegant fine dining experience. Wonderful food, beautiful setting and attentive, personalized service. Yes, expensive, but worthy of a special, celebratory occasion.

   My husband and I are vegan. The chef presented a three course menu of the most outstanding dishes,all vegan, to celebrate my birthday! Each morsel was scintillating of your senses. Our waiter, Jeff, made our celebration extraordinary with his explanation of the various salts and how to use them on various entrees. If you’re looking for an exceptional dining experience, look no further…,,, Salt will not disappoint.

   The service was outstanding, and beautiful atmosphere for a special dinner. We knew that only a prix fix menu was available for Valentines weekend, but not informed of the menu in advance. One course was delicious (halibut perfectly prepared) but the others were not items I would have ordered and one I did not enjoy. Our server was able to replace that item with something more enjoyable to me. Overall I was disappointed with the food for the amount we paid, although the ambiance and service were excellent.

    We dined at Salt for Valentine's Day and enjoyed their fixed menu. The food was exceptional and the wines were paired with perfection. There was not an item on the menu that did not shine. This was not something I would do regularly, but for a special occasion, it was a great meal with great service.
