Sammy G’s Tuscan Grill is located in the heart of downtown Palm Springs and near some of the city’s most quaint shops and hotels.

Established in 2009, Sammy G’s has is open seasonally for Sammy's weekend Brunch and lunch with an innovative menu, blending traditional Italian with California cuisine. Take a break from shopping and dine al fresco for lunch on the newly renovated patio and soak up the gorgeous desert weather, or venture inside and be transported to Tuscany with the restaurant’s rustic charm.

Dinner becomes a casual yet elegant event, and traditional Italian favorites mixed with updated classics are on the menu. A semi-private room is available for family gatherings or business events.

On Thursday through Saturday nights, the Sammy G’s Lounge becomes an energetic yet intimate place to meet up with friends and dance the night away to live music and enjoy Sammy G’s signature cocktails.

    Not a terrible experience by any means, but an average restaurant with average food, in an above average location. A classic dichotomy of many a restaurant with less of an incentive to rise up. All in all an okay meal, but not a restaurant I'm eager to return to. Food okay, but not great. Service functional. Price acceptable.

    Very nice dining experience. The ambiance was open, inviting and stimulating. The back room provided awesome views of a courtyard. The food was delicious, tasty and satisfying. The staff did not rush us, allowing us to fully enjoy the experience.

    I ordered a Peroni (Italian) beer. It was served in a very warm glass probably very recently washed. Beer should always be served in a very cold glass. I had to ask for a cold glass on my second drink. I ordered the mussels and clams in red sauce with no pasta. My dish was very, very overcooked. I couldn’t finish it. Very disappointing. My friends are visiting from out of state and I told them to take a hard pass on the seafood options here unless they are deep fried.

    The service was great, the front desk found us a seat, and our waiter provided great service by making sure we had water and presenting us with the menu. But the food was very average, we ordered spaghetti with meatballs and salmon. Tasted like heated fast food from Vons, we were drawn here by the 4.7 rating, everything we were happy with except the food itself. We drove here from Los Angeles for a one day stay, so this meal was a disappointment for us. I wouldn't recommend this restaurant if you love food and value the quality of the food more than the ambiance and other.
