Excellent food and service, a bit on the pricey side, but on par with other restaurants. One critique is that the music playing was very loud, hard to have conversation with table mate. Would love to have music turned down just a bit. Otherwise, very happy. First time going there, will go back!

Service is almost always inconsistent but quality of the food is superb and ambiance is great! Lamb chops are out of this world good.

I made a reservation weeks early and noted that it was a date. Fast forward to arrival, they seated us just like we were walk-ins and sat us at the back of the restaurant next to the bathroom and the kitchen entrance with constant traffic. Luckily there were seats at the bar so we moved there and had a fabulous bartender. Otherwise this would have been a very different review. The Sasa reservation process needs to be reviewed.

Always the best, freshest and creative rolls and nigiri sushi anywhere in the Diablo Valley. Not cheap but worth it. And Chris is a great, classy, attentive waiter who make Sasa a memorable experience

The service was frustratingly slow—our server took 10 minutes to arrive, followed by another 15 minutes just to get a cocktail. The ambiance in the back room left much to be desired. Depending on your table, it might be passable, but ours was cramped to the point where we had to physically move the table to let others pass. This was after being relocated from our first table, which was inconveniently placed right next to a constantly swinging kitchen door. The food itself was good, but with so many excellent new dining options in Walnut Creek, I doubt I’ll return for dinner. The bar is normally great, so I might consider stopping by for cocktails in the future.

One of our favorite places - food is consistently great… esp the sushi. Don’t miss the green tea crème brûlée for dessert - it’s awesome!
