   Salads are prepared way ahead of time.So soggy i didn't even bother eating that.By the time I finished my meal.My wife was coming out because they screwed it up the first time and also the second time as well but at that point we didn't want to say anything.We just wanted out .. Quality isn't what it used to be

   We LOVE going here! We’ve been regular customers ever since 2012. We don’t go often but it’s a treasured experience always. Our favorite longtime server, Rachel is always a complete breath of fresh air! She has such a light and positive energy to match her beautiful smile!    The meal was great, with generous portions. The atmosphere hasn't changed under new ownership. Our server, Deja, was attentive and made the experience very pleasant. Parking was a bit of an issue with limited space from recent snow, but overall a great experience!

   Amazing food and service! The bathroom temperature was a little cool, and the water pressure was terrible. I don’t think there was hot water. But that is so minor compared to all the wonderful things at this restaurant! From the time we were greeted to the time that we left.

   My husband ordered the chop beef and specifically asked for it to be cooked medium. The waitress agreed to this and stated if there was a problem she would let us know. Well, after a significant amount of time the food came out and it was rare... very rare! Disgusting. We do not eat our food like this. The service took so long that my husband didn't want to have to wait even longer to eat. It was a huge waste of our money. We will look down south next Valentine's Day for dinner.

   We had dinner at the Sedgley Place maybe 10-15 years ago for our anniversary (in the summer). It's almost an hour away from home so an opportunity to return hadn't presented itself. However, we recently read of new ownership and were looking for a "special" place for Valentines Day (our go-to place for many years changed ownership a couple of years ago and have disappointed us since). Let's just say our dining experience at the Sedgley Place for Valentines Day was OUTSTANDING! We met the new owner and complimented her on our meals. I had Prime Rib, which was cooked exactly as I ordered, a very generous portion with immense flavor and texture. My wife had scallops with a bacon jam (?) that was exquisite. The service was impeccable even with a full house. We'll return as it is worth the drive!

   The service was good, but slow. The food was not as expected for the cost of the “5 course meal.” We opted not to bring our leftovers home, because we knew we wouldn’t consume the rest of the meal(s) that we did not care for. The menu hasn’t changed much-even under the new ownership. The atmosphere was the same as it has always been. We happily pay over $100 per person for a meal and service if it’s worth it. It was not worth the money we spent.

   We enjoyed a nice, quiet evening with friends. The food was top notch and the service was excellent. We feel they went out of their way to make the evening enjoyable. Highly recommended.

   It was just okay. For that kind of money I was expecting to be blown away, and was not. My medium rare filet was well done, the sides were very under cooked. But the French onion soup was Devine. That’s about it.

    Our experience was as wonderful as always, and the food was outstanding! I was surprised, however, when we got our check as both of our meals were more than indicated on their menu. I’ve attached a photo from their website showing what the range is for their meals with the highest price being $79. Both of our meals were more than the high-end ($84 & $89). We did not order anything that was a special like the tomahawk chop, ours were just meals on the regular listed menu. We’re thankful for the 20% discount since they had to reschedule us due to a staffing issue on the night we had originally reserved, but still pricing seemed too high. We’re afraid the increased pricing is going to limit our being able to enjoy the Sedgley Place very often which is unfortunate.
