Senza Gluten is the first 100% gluten-free Italian restaurant in Greenwich Village, New York City. We are aware that having celiac or choosing a gluten-free diet can sometimes be challenging, especially when dining out. At Senza Gluten we want to make sure your dining experience is perfect and safe by guaranteeing 100% gluten-free cuisine. Italian food is an all time favorite, however, it is characterized by foods like pasta and pizza. At Senza Gluten we want to bring the best Italian dishes to the table using a completely gluten-free approach.

Even the gluten eaters in our party said that they would return to this restaurant. And, of course, the gluten-sensitive were over the moon. The friendliness and helpfulness of the staff complemented the superb food.

We arrived at the restaurant at 9pm and were told that the kitchen would close in 15 minutes, even though the restaurant's website and Instagram say it closes at 9:45am. We placed our order and noticed that the waiters were in a hurry. In addition, the workers were going up and down a ladder. The food was good but the service was terrible.

This was an incredible experience. I am gluten free, dairy free, and garlic free and they accommodated it all. I have never had such an amazing experience. What a treasure of a restaurant!

Charming restaurant with attentive wait staff. Everything is gluten free! We got the arugula salad, gnocchi, and a cream sauce rigatoni. Tiramisu for dessert. It’s cash only and there is an ATM downstairs. I thought the food was solid. Overall 3.5 stars.

Outstanding “Safe Place to Eat” in the city; the staff is outstanding and the food was simply delicious. The strawberry margarita was so delicious and fresh! If you need celiac safe food in the heart of the city - this is it! Oh and a point to note, the portions are pretty sizable, so you can share! 5 out of 5!
