Shaw's Crab House is Chicagoland's Premier Seafood Restaurant. Reservations made for "Bar" seating will be for our casual Oyster Bar, reservations made for "Standard" seating will be in our more formal Main Dining Room and reservations made for our "Outdoor" will be on our patio.
All reservations are limited to 2 hours of dining.

The service was excellent. The prices are high, but the food is very good. Portions were smaller than in the past. They add 3% to keep down cost yet claim to update the menu daily. That is a bunch of crap. However they remove it if you ask.

The food was not outstanding by any measure. The mussels were bland and flavorless. The grilled calamari was overcooked and chewy. The lobster and steaks were good. The salad was by every measure the best item we ordered.

Portions seem smaller and prices were up. Son’s birthday and he chose the seafood “platter” which looked skimpy and served not on a “platter “ but a regular dinner plate. Have been there before for his birthday but not going back again. Disappointing.

Disappointing experience. Had much better lobster bisque, had only two toes of oysters available and seafood linguini very salty. Excellent opening cocktail.

Dined in the bar area to celebrate wife’s birthday. Seated promptly. Waiter quickly took drink orders then Waiter answered all questions about the menu. Enjoyed Monday oyster special as appetizer, entrees were served in timely manner. Wife was served complementary fudge sundae for her birthday!

The service as always was courteous and impeccable! My halibut dish was superb! They honored my wife’s birthday in style and it was a great experience!
