In 2009, we became Oxford’s neighborhood restaurant and living room. The brain child of Award-Winning Chef, John Currence, Snackbar is a Southern Brasserie that prides itself on using local Mississippi ingredients whenever possible.     We had an amazing dinner. We made reservations and our table was ready shortly after we arrived. Everyone at our table ordered something different and no one was disappointed. Delicious.

    Snackbar was a great dinner spot in Oxford. I think the name belies the true dining experience there. I really enjoyed the catfish cutlet small plate and then the duck sandwich. I thought the value was good and the service was great. Really enjoyed the visit.

    We had a reservation the night after a day football game. We were seated right away. Our server was pleasant and attentive. Party of 5. The food was delicious! We had appetizers, soup, oysters, and entrees. Everything was absolutely perfect.

    5:30 reservation on a Friday. Snackbar must have been understaffed. Long delays in getting drink orders filled, entree orders placed and filled. Took three hours to finish.

    This was our second visit this fall. Both were on game weekends and both experiences were poor. Service was very slow and there were mistakes with our orders on both occasions. Each time, the staff were in agreement with our complaints and reduced the price of our bill. Regardless, I will not be returning.
