   Went there for their Valentines Day prix fixe dinner and thoroughly enjoyed ourselves on our anniversary. We were greeted graciously and each server was very friendly and welcoming. Our main server was Joanna and she was lovely. Each course was good, especially the ricotta tortellini and lobster bisque! I had the sea bass and partner had the filet. May have been a mix up with how the steak was cooked but the chef graciously offered to make up for that. There were quite a few diners and it was a busy night…we were very impressed none the less. The desserts were out of this world. My husband had the chocolate cake and I had the bee pollen pastry! Amazing! We also received a complementary glass of champagne to start and I got a lovely red rose! Did I not mention the ambiance? Second to none over a beautiful view of the Pacific and under an impressive monolithic glass chandelier. Heaven.

   We were so excited to visit Splashes since the remodel and we were pleasantly impressed! We started with a cocktail in the new lobby lounge that overlooks the ocean. What an outstanding use of this location that use to be hotel suites. Next it was on to Splashes where we were met by Julian (from Paris) who found us a marvelous table overlooking the picturesque sunset. Julian is a great ambassador for the hotel and Splashes. Our Waiter was Patrick from Buenos Aires, Patrick and his server Jose have been with the hotel for years and were very attentive, friendly and knowledgeable. We started with the lobster bisque, this is a must have when visiting Splashes, it was outstanding! Our dinner was beautifully presented and delicious. I had the sea bass special for the evening, it was tender and buttery and it melted in my mouth. My wife had the halibut which was also outstanding. We ended the evening with a shared Baked Alaska, it was the perfect sweet treat to complete this great evening. We can’t say enough about how much we enjoyed our experience at Surf and Sands Splashes. We will be back very soon!

   Went here the day after Valentine’s Day. We sat outside and can hear the waves crashing. It was cold in the shade and really warm in the sun, so just need to layer. The view is beautiful. The food is delicious but the portions are small. The salmon dish is great. The cappuccino is strong which I love. You will need an appetizer and a main dish to be full. The price is as expected at a beach front resort and restaurant. The service is the best all around. Very high end dining, even if just for lunch.

   My new fav of Laguna beach restaurant! The environment js clean and mordern, customer service patience( they help me change to the seat by window). Food are delicious and overall experiences are wonderful!

   Service was excellent Not excited about the menu. Duck saffron pasta was so sweet I could barely consume my lunch Disappointing Valentine lunch We were very impressed with the Remodel of the hotel and restaurant ❤️

   It's not very often that you know you are fine dining. Most restaurants are passable, some are even good. But the food at Splashes is like the food of the gods. The servings are not too much, just enough. The tastes are exceptional. Every mouthful makes you want to hum. It's expensive, but well worth every penny. Will be going back.

    We had an amazing experience. Food, service and view were exceptional. George was our server and he was top notch. Thank you Splashes for making our Anniversary dinner memorable. We will be back soon.
