    Sadly, the food was cold and not very tasty. The music overhead was way too loud and the server was friendly but had too many tables so there was a long wait when asking for items like another beverage and salt and pepper.

    Not a better view in Tacoma, food is great, the servers were attentive throughout the meal. We got the 3 course meal to celebrate our engagement, food came in perfect intervals for conversation and to not be rushed eating. Audrey the server ended our night with the molten chocolate cake with "engaged" spelled out in chocolate. We cannot wait to come back soon

    Unfortunately, my wife’s steak was well undercooked when first brought to the table along with my dinner and my daughter’s dinner. Our server returned the steak to the kitchen when asked. When it eventually returned, the steak, the same steak, was still well undercooked. Our waitperson, when advised again, went to speak with the manager. She then told us the manager would be right over. The manager did not come right over. Our waitperson returned a bit later, while the steak was still in front of my wife, and asked if the manager had come by. We advised no, and she took the steak again. The manager then came by while my wife sat with no food and my daughter and I slowly ate our food. The manager offered my wife a salad which she accepted. The steak returned again, the same steak, and was finally cooked to my wife’s order. Our waitperson apologized, offered us complimentary dessert and removed the steak from the bill. Our waitperson was fantastic. Very disappointed with the cook staff and delayed response from the manager. Back in the late 1980’s, I lived in Tacoma attending grad school and knew Peter Stanley who was then one of the owners. Peter would have been greatly disappointed with our experience. We will probably not return.

    Really good food. The Mahi mahi was delicious and cooked just right. The filet could’ve used more seasoning but was cooked perfectly. The sirloin flavorful and cooked perfectly-it was great! Loved the dipping sauce for the coconut shrimp! The waiter was busy and not the most present but did the job.

    OK-- short and sweet... the seafood alfredo fettuccine is so comforting; porkchop is the best in Tacoma; the bread pudding is "to die for", excellent consistency, lots of caramel sauce, and an added layer of "creme brulee" which makes it a signature move for the chef! Our sever, Andres, was really great, along with the hostess (the staff here is wonderful)! Come and enjoy their ever improving menue ;) PS: Splurge on the Ora King Salmon-- worth every bite!

    I have driven past this iconic location for 20 years, decided to try it The experience was “tired”. This is an old, worn structure with character and a unique view of Tacoma, but the service was uninspired (server showed no interest in being at work) but not rude, menu was nice but food no better than averagely prepared Overall, this is a formerly premium dining experience in Tacoma that, decades on, is average in all regards except price which is still premium (25% higher than other Tacoma restaurants)

    Stanley & Seaforts has been a favorite with its stunning views and great food. The facility upgrades, carpet, furniture, and woodwork are well done. The staff seemed to be on their game as well. We had the Ora King Salmon and pea salad. The salmon was prepared perfectly!

    This is a 10/10 eating experience every time. Menu is not overwhelming. Wait staff is exceptional. Every always seems to be having a good time.

    Overall, we had a good experience. It was pretty busy so our waiter wasn’t extremely attentive but she also wasn’t dismissive either. However, I was never asked if I needed a drink refill. Our food came out in a timely manner. The clam chowder was delicious and I loved the steakhouse butter that I had added to my steak. Unfortunately, my steak was overdone and my husband’s shrimp weren’t deveined.
