   My wife and I had a nice dinner, her sirloin steak was under done, more rare than medium rare. I had the seafood platter, I'm afraid the crab legs were small and contained very little meat, which was hard to get to as the crab shells were very soft and couldn't be cracked. The rest of the platter was very good, the salmon and prawns were excellent.

   Had a great time. Our family treated us for our wedding anniversary. We would highly recommend this establishment.

   My prawns were slightly over seasoned and the snow crab seemed a bit either overcooked/not as fresh. Only complain because I added this on to my $45.00 Valentines dinner which made it $83.00. I didn't mention it to the waiter Charles as he had done such a wonderful job of looking after us and I ate it all. My partner had the Fat Tug beer and I had Grey Goose Martini which was perfect! Tom Gore Cabernet was a perfect accompaniment to our choices for dinner! All in all a wonderful afternoon Valentines meal! Would eat there again!

   we pre-booked for the day before Valentine’s Day because we didn’t wanna have a full restaurant in slow service. It was empty and the service was fast. The person that greeted us wasn’t very friendly and our waitress was nice but definitely needed a bit more of an upbeat personality. During our meal, we saw two mice running on the floor. I understand it’s close by the water and we probably saw them because there wasn’t many people in the restaurant, but it was kind of weird seeing mice running about. The food was good. The lobster ravioli was quite small. My partner was still hungry after. Definitely recommend the seafood mixed grill. It was good.

   We dined at this restaurant to experience the Dine About Victoria set menu. They were out of lamb and steak which was our choices. Very disappointed. We ended up ordering an alternative which was okay. Not sure that we will return!

   The menu was original, every dish (3 different appetizers and 3 different entrees) we had was delicious and beautifully presented. Our server was knowledgeable about the wine list and suggested appropriate pairings. In spite of the restaurant being very busy, she was attentive to our table and paced the courses according to our wants. We’ll definitely return.

   What drew me to this restaurant was the eclectic menu that included turf and surf options. We took advantage of Victoria's dine around promotion where various restaurants showcase some of their best dishes as part of a multi course meal. Our party of five enjoyed dishes that included Thai marinaded prawns as an appetizer, Shrimp Gyoza, Whisky soup, and mains included a seafood platter, Mongolian lamb, beef sirloin and Creme Brûlée or Chocolate tart to close. The dishes were beautifully prepared and loved the seasonings that elevated these dishes. Highly recommended.

   The entire experience we had was excellent! We did fresh oysters, appetizers , mains and desserts with cocktails and everything was delicious. We had a very attentive server throughout the night that was friendly and knowledgeable. We would 100% return again.

    I had the Dine Around Menu. The soup was divine. The lamb was an intriguing journey of flavours. The crème brûlée was heavenly. I wasn't as impressed with the food at Steamship when it first opened but, in the past few years, it has really stepped up. Unlike some restaurants with good views that let the food quality slide, it seem that Steamship is intent on providing a great dining experience. Great job, Steamship! Keep up keeping up your standards.
