    This year we’ve made some big changes at Steel & Rye! Our former private dining area is now home to our new bakery kitchen. We have loved hosting private events in the past, however no longer have a private space to offer. At this time, we are pleased to offer regular dining reservations for groups of up to 18 guests. Please call our main line at 617-690-2787 and speak with one of our managers or email us at contact@steelandrye.com to make a reservation for parties between 12-18 guests.

    What a lovely brunch, plenty of options. We had an array of sandwiches and breakfast items, everyone was more than happy with their choice. Staff are friendly and attentive. I wish we lived closer we'd be here all the time.

    Outstanding meal in every respect: service, cocktails, oysters, apps, salads, and four different entrees (cod over creamed lentils, harissa fried chicken, beef shanks and chard ragout pasta, melt in your mouth short ribs).

    Enjoyed my first time at Steel and Rye! Menu is a bit limited but the burger was delicious. Great martini and even better after dinner affogato. The place was warm, well lit and decorated tastefully for Christmas! Will be back 😃

    The staff is both friendly and professional. Kim, our server was attentive and flexible with changes to our order. The entire staff was welcoming and attentive and the food was outstanding. I highly recommend Steel and Rye
