Stella Modern Italian Cuisine specializes in fresh seasonal menus featuring local and organic ingredients when possible. The wood burning oven is the heart of the restaurant, producing Roman style pizza and the majority of the menu. Our culinary team led by Executive Chef Josh Partain has created a modern menu using ideas that begin with traditional Italian dishes. The wine list is an interesting group of Italian and American wines personally selected by owner/operator Lori Burson.

    Stella always is one of my favorites in OKC. Yesterday, however, the restaurant even outdid itself! Several new Fall menu items recommended by our perfect waitress, Nicole - all of which were absolutely fabulous. You just can’t beat the new softly fried calamari, shrimp, artichoke, mozzarella, lemon slices, olives and pepperochini with the aioli sauce - utterly delicious. The perfectly cooked brisket sandwich with pickled carrots on a perfectly toasted baguette was to die for and the chopped salad - magnificent. And then….the amazing risotto rice pudding - oh my! Service great, as usual, and the noise level much better than usual for a Sunday afternoon.

    It was an amazing dinner. The warm mushroom salad was fabulous. So were our entrees. Told someone at our hotel about Stella this morning. We will definitely be back!

    Overall the experience was good, the charcuterie board and quality of food wasn’t as impressive as previous years. We have been long time fans of Stella.

    Not sure who our server was but she was not very attentive. We were celebrating a birthday and that was never acknowledged even though it was on the reservation. My husband’s pork chops were dry and c over cooked and my duck and orzo had been terribly over salted. This is the first time we have been disappointed by Stella’s food and service.

    I love this place! The food is always delicious and the service has always been wonderful. It’s a favorite of mine and a must every time I come to OKC!

    The Stella's Sangria is one of the best Sangria's I've ever had! Very refreshing! I had the Butternut Squash Ravioli and it was great too! I will be back!
