   We had a great dinner. 9 of us all on separate checks and our server handled it like a pro. The food was amazing. We are all still talking about it today. Those biscuits will change your life.

   We arrived early to get a quick dinner before a show at the Moody Center. It was not busy and we expected to be able to get in and out relatively quickly. The initial greeting and service were fine but then we didn't get any help and had to go to the bar for our drink order. After the appetizer and a second round of drinks we got our food and the order was incorrect. They subbed out the fish we ordered without telling us it just wasn't that good. Was suppose to be herd crusted halibut and they subbed sea bass and it had more of an herb sauce and not a crust. The fall salad we ordered came out with only the greens and some apples (apples are not part of the salad). We got a one of the runners attention and he apologized and took it back to fix. What was returned to us looked like they just threw some vegetables on top without much mind to presentation. The squash was still missing from the dish and the walnuts were not candied like described in the menu. Overall, it was just a poor experience and the food was simply not good. It was not busy to were there could have a been a good reason for all the mistakes. They just dropped the ball on this one. We heard other people mention the food being good on the way out but just not our experience this time. Probably would not return with so many other good restaurants downtown.

   The hostess ( young man) was not the nicest. I made a reservation and a person in my party got there before we did. We arrived a little late due to traffic and parking (came from out of town). I notified the host that I had someone already seated and he said “oh okay “ and sat us somewhere else. He said for us to call them. I don’t think that was appropriate. We had to call the person, they had to close their ticket to come to our table. Also, the tea was not fresh as had a weird taste, steak was not properly cooked but biscuit and fries were great along with my cocktail. Also, silverware and plate had to be replaced because it was not clean. Hopefully, we just came on an off night and this is not the norm.

   Decor is beginning to shownits age. A chair near the server station is thoroughly stained. Table was covered in jelly from the breakfast service. Old fashioned was yummy, biscuits were fantastic, salad was tasty but beginning to show rust spots, soup was good. However, I wouldn't say the meal was worth the $80 we paid for an appetizer, a soup, a salad and 2 cocktails.

   We had a wonderful brunch we were seated immediately on our arrival. Our food was amazing and our server Logan was fabulous this is definitely a repeat trip for us.

   Host was great . Pretty space . Server brought our sides before meals .. but we had no food. She Served them like they were appetizers. When we said we would prefer sides w meal— her response — they were ready so didn’t them to get cold in window 😳. Chicken was dry. Steak was under cooked rare even when asked for medium well. Mashed potatoes w chicken and steak both were cold. Would not go back or recommend
