   We had been to this restaurant numerous times. First couple times were great. This time it was just ok. Service was very slow initially. Food was mediocre. Not sure I would drive across Hamilton county again just to eat here. Location is good and ambience is good.

   We asked to be seated at a table in the bar and enjoyed the activity there. Bartender was efficient as our server as well as tending the other guests at the bar. Loved the subtle spice in the bread, Caesar and wedge salads were as expected. French onion soup was tasty, as was the filet, and burger ordered by others. We were celebrating a birthday so chose the brownie ice cream sundae for dessert - very generous in proportion… a bit messy though as brownie was buried deep in the goblet. Crème brûlée was good. We look forward to visiting again.

   We are upstairs and it was quiet and comfortable. Great service. Spicy pasta was terrific! Will come back for sure!

   It is an awesome restaurant, when it is not a holiday. If it is, service is slower, food not hot, not cooked right. This is monthly place we enjoy, but first time on Dec 24th, disappointing to say the least. Took 10 min to get water, cups dirty and had to be taken back. Tables sticky. Additional 15 min for appetizers, room temp, not warm/hot. The girls ordered their steak well done. Steaks came out medium. They took them back happily, same steak came back out, which is fine, but still medium. 47.00 for a steak, not going to complain a 2nd time. Now the rest of the plate was cold as that likely sat their waiting for the steak to get a few more minutes. Potatoes cold and no longer seemed like mashed potatoes. The waitress was awesome as none of that was her control, just not a place to go on a holiday.

   My husband ordered blue crab cake and he likes it. I ordered the filet mignon as did my two daughters (20 yrs). We felt the steak was a little chewy. Wasn’t as good as I remember and a bit overpriced.

    I've never had anything here I didn't love but I mostly come here for the calamari and their bread! They will keep bringing you bread if you keep asking for it which can be dangerous haha. Apparently you can also now buy the dipping oil that they serve with the bread and take it home!
