Sushi Sasabune offers a unique Omakase-style sushi experience. We specialize in using as much local fish as possible, creating a meal that can be found nowhere else in the world! Sasabune is a specialty sushi restaurant, meaning we do not serve tempura, noodles, California rolls etc. All nigiri are served with its own unique sauce and topping, meant to be eaten as is. In the words of head chef and owner Seiji Kumagawa, "Trust me!"

                                                                                                      We have been coming here every time we visit Honolulu. The food is simply fantastic and the service by the sushi masters as well as the rest of the staff is flawless. We look forward to our next visit and another wonderful meal. This is a memorable restaurant and a place you simply must go if you enjoy sushi.

                                                                                                      Best sushi in the islands! This was a great dining experience. We sat at the sushi bar and let the chefs make all the calls. All of the nigiri was carefully planned and prepared (using many local Hawaiian fish) for an unforgettable night. The owner oversaw all of the preparation and delivery of each dish. Our chef explained each item in detail including the order to eat. We did the entire flight of nigiri and did not come away disappointed. They simply say “Trust Me”. We did and we will be back.
