We serve various kinds of fish. They are all carefully chosen from the fish market each morning. All fish are sliced in traditional style that preserves the original flavor and texture. Our executive chef overseen every dish. From choosing the rice and seaweed to the decoration of plate, each dish is the demonstration of our dedications to customers. We strive for the recognition as a customer-oriented restaurant through our delicious food, enthusiastic services and serenading environment. A hidden gem. Truly love it. Service and food are great. Soups sushi and kitchen food are amazing. Cleanest teriyaki in the city. Home made soy sauce. No frills but delicious and a great experience

Not the best service, even though I’ve been there before and enjoyed it. No attention from the server Lucas after the initial order was taken I had to remind one of the servers that I was still waiting for part of my order after almost 20 minutes . No follow up about how things were if I wanted another drink or anything else off the menu . I won’t be returning anytime soon even though it’s only half a block from my apartment…. So disappointing.

Quality always great, food always great. Only downside was they only had the Mini Omakase offered, but it was a wonderful meal overall.

We eat here often and always had a positive experience. Tonight the host who seemed new and inexperienced approached us about needing the table for the next customers. We were at the table for about 80 minutes. One of the waiters who knew us apologized.

I go to Yasaka for last 10 years- and always loved it Lately , (in last year or so) their level of service and food is dramatically changed- so today it was the first time I had returned an Unagi don - as the fish smelled bad . I hope that past success is not getting to them
