   Swift’s Attic was fantastic! Great ambiance, tasty small plates, and excellent cocktails. Highly recommend the Tiger Apricot and ice ball cocktails—will return soon!

   Have been coming here for many years historically been a great spot, for whatever reason our favorite item “The How We Roll” cut their portion size by over half. The main reason we would come here is now not even worth it to get. I wish they would go back to their old portion sizes.

   What a find! Just a short walk from our hotel. Food was amazingly. Husband had the short ribs that he raved about and I had shrimp and grits( they have a cute name for it but I forgot it) which was different but in a good way. The fried oysters were a standout as well. Decor lovely, staff attentive.

   While the interior ambiance and food carried the night, the wait staff attention to detail remained lacking. The waiter inattentiveness to water being served, ensuring that both myself and guest are served entrees at same time was not within his strength. Table was not bussed and had numerous staff walk by without so much as a look to our table. The GM certainly wasn’t going to notice so why would I expect our waiter?

   Though I’ve been in Austin since 2009, this day after Valentine’s Day visit was my first time dining at Swift’s Attic. And I’ll be back ASAP. The service was amazing. The V-Day prix fixe menu was seafood-heavy and delightful, particularly the redfish entree. While a large table halfway through the meal was rowdier than I would have liked, the quaint vibe and dark decor added to a very special evening. Thank you.

   We had a hard time getting service, one item never arrived. Had to track someone down to get check so we could leave in time for show. I was told the booth was reserved so we could not sit there but no one showed up. May have just been understaffed. Beautiful restaurant

    Great atmosphere and service. The food wasn’t great. A $36 steak dinner that was smaller than an appetizer, served on a giant 12” plate and was maybe at the most 4 oz of meat? No thanks. Will not be returning.
