Tapagria is a Spanish Tapas restaurant bringing authentic Iberian dishes to the heart of Commerce Valley in Markham. Set in an exposed brick building that combines classic Spanish tiles with industrial fixtures, natural wood and steel finishes, the restaurant offers a large dining area, stunning new private dining rooms and a bar that overlooks the open concept kitchen for an interactive experience.

Catch a glimpse of the Spanish culture when dining at Tapagria by enjoying traditional paella, savoring a variety of delectable tapas and conversing over craft sangrias. Felt overpriced though, for what you get, and the manager/owner (?) was kind of a jerk. Damn near made us sign waivers when we mentioned a food allergy, and after asking for a couple slices of bread to mop up the delicious sauces of our extensive and expensive meal, he added a bread order to our bill.

We ordered the calamari, beef skirt, bone marrow, and paella—none of which were balanced in flavor. Portions were small, not that I’d want to eat more given how salty everything was. For the price, the value just isn’t there. Not worth it.

Every time the main door opened, we were plunged into sub-arctic temperatures. We had to keep ourselves covered and warm throughout the meal, which wasn't ideal for a romantic dinner.

It was our first time dining at a Spanish restaurant in this part of town. The recommendations provided by our server were wonderful and made for a great dinner experience!

                                                                                              We chose Tapagria’s for their Valentines dinner special and they did not disappoint. The garlic shrimp, paella, suckling pig asado, roasted bone marrow was all prepared expertly. Muchos gracias to Paula who was very attentive and provided us with excellent service. Highly recommended.

                                                                                              The food was fantastic however the restaurant itself was absolutely freezing It was actually the coldest place I have eaten at We all had to wear our coats by the end of the evening and we saw a few people leave before ordering If you can sort out the heating issue we would be happy to come by Thanks Grant Morrison
