   Great as always. The whiskey sauce is 10000/10 and will keep me coming back every time I visit Edinburgh.

   Lovely place to eat in Edinburgh. We were there on a day trip to celebrate my dad’s birthday. The staff were very friendly and the food was great. We both had the pie and chips, really good, as was the sticky toffee pudding. Would definitely recommend.

   2nd time we've eaten here and both times have been so good. Food was delicious, lots of drink choices and friendly staff. Been very busy both times so would highly recommend booking in advance - I guess this shows how good the place is! We will definitely return!

   We have eaten here on numerous occasions,never been disappointed,food is always good.We also book a table to make sure we get in as sometimes it’s very busy.

   We went on a Sunday before Xmas and it was very busy but the staff handled it perfectly. Food was delicious!

   Busy and popular pub. Steak pie! Haggis bon-bons! Scotch Whisky recommendations! Live music downstairs! We had dinner and we went back twice, once for drinks and once for dessert. Recommended. Ask for Hannah :-)

    all ok. i had the meat pie : filling was nice but pastry poor. Veg frozen which was a shame.
