   Food was very good and so was the service. The only comment I have is when I made the reservation, I was prompted to reply if it was a special occasion and if so, what it was? I replied that it was our wedding anniversary (40th), but there was no acknowledgement of our special occasion when we arrived. It would have been nice if there was some sort of acknowledgement as we choose the Barn to on this milestone or don't ask.

   We love Cameron’s restaurants but The Barn did not live up to our expectations unfortunately. From now on we will just continue to go to Cap City.

   We had a reservation for 4 people, but needed a highchair because of the highchair request they didn't have a table for us. It was an odd situation because they told us that we were originally assigned to a booth but couldn't accommodate a highchair at a booth. However, they ended up putting us in a booth after waiting over 30 minutes. After being seated we waited over 10 minutes to be greeted by a server. It sort of felt like we didn't have a dedicated server and were forgotten about. The food in the buffet was great and seemed to always have everything available. My son only wanted pancakes, but they had to be ordered through a server when they finally arrived they were not very hot and extremely dry. My son left hungry and we had to feed him after leaving. We didn't say anything because it was very difficult to find a server while we were there. The less than ideal service is enough to keep us from coming back.

   Our party agreed the appetizers were the highlight of the meal. The waiter was very attentive and engaging.

   The restaurant ran out of what my husband and I ordered. They apologized but we were very disappointed. It was a Saturday night at 7 pm. We ordered Ribeye steak instead . It was very tough. Our table literally shook causing the water in the glasses to spill over every single time we cut the steak. Very disappointing since the steak was tough and grizzly. We were there with family ( 6 of us) to celebrate my husband’s retirement and birthday. Previously the person celebrating a birthday is offered a free dessert. That was not offered this time. Overall, we were very disappointed in our experience at The Barn at Rocky Fork Creek. It has always been a favorite restaurant to celebrate a big event. After the bad experience we had last night, not one of us in our party of 6, plans to ever return to the restaurant ever again.

    I had originally gone somewhere else to eat - however their treatment of a solo diner was less than stellar. I went to the Barn and had the best meal and service. Kevin was fantastic…. Food amazing! Thank you!
