The Bistro is located on the grounds of the Biltmore Estate, right next door to Biltmore's award-winning winery. Please be aware that you must have a valid paid estate admission ticket, be staying at Inn on Biltmore Estate or Village Hotel, or be a Biltmore Annual Passholder to dine on property. Please note that due to limited seating availability we are unable to accept reservations for our patio. All patio seating is assigned on a first come first served basis.

The Bistro features contemporary American fare. Fresh, seasonal, and local ingredients are the focus on the dinner menu, which features premium steaks, impeccable mountain trout and seafood, poultry and lamb. Gardens on the estate produce a wide array of vegetables and fruits throughout the seasons, and our extensive pasture lands provide all-natural, hormone-free Black Angus beef and lamb.

After many years of having Christmas dinner at the Bistro and a break of few years from not being able to get reservations, I was very disappointed. What I had, prime rib (generous portions and fine) but ordinary mashed potatoes and unidentified greens, poached pears (which were nothing like other versions that I’ve had in French restaurants and not memorable), and German chocolate cake (absolutely average and dry), I was very disappointed , the service was great but the meal over priced and not memorable.

We were so excited to have a chance to experience Christmas Eve dinner at the Biltmore Estate. Our family has had a crazy Fall and were all gathered for the Holiday. First of all, the waiter, named Bobby was sarcastic and condescending in attitude. The restaurant was so cold that we had to eat in our Winter coats. We requested an increase in heat, which never happened. The meal including gratuity was $1000 for five and consisted of a first course, entree and dessert. There were two dresser offerings and they were not at all good. Entrees were unimaginative but fairly tasty. Portions were small. We had a single bottle of Biltmore wine and 2 guests each ordered and extra glass. We are locals trying to support local business after the hurricane but will not return to the Bistro for a long time. All in all, an overpriced, disappointingly experience!

Rather loud and harsh environment. Service excellent, food average but wildly overpriced.

Great food and Jennifer was a wonderful server. Surprisingly not too crowded but great atmosphere. Disappointed that my pass holder discount couldn’t be used.

One of the best meals I’ve ever had! The French onion soup is superb, and the filet mignon was to die for! Highly recommend.

We are never disappointed dining at the Bistro. Our server helped us with a few decisions but I don’t think we could have made a bad choice.

Warm atmosphere, excellent food and our server was spot on with his timing, with drinks, food, everything. Food came out in a timely manner and was exceptional. Prices were competitive with other similar restaurants in the area.
