We enjoyed a delicious dinner of tacos and chicken mole. My husband was particularly fond of the smoked jalapeno margaritas! They are open for dinner all afternoon, so it's a good place to go if you're attending an early evening event.

The service was very good. Our waitress spent time answering question regarding the food. My guest studied culinary arts while in Italy and many other countries while studying fine arts. We were adventurous and tried the crickets which were like an added garnish atop a salad added to a toasted thin taco with a house made dressing. As my guest said this is not TexMex like the majority of Mexican restaurants in NYC. The mole was house made and excellent! Duck taco very yummy!

Amazing place. We went during happy hours and had a great margarita and delicious food on a great discount. Artisan plates with a lovely service and the interior of the place lives up to its name. Great ant features all over, someone really put a lot of love and effort in this place and its kitchen. Highly recommended!

My carne asada was excellent. The corn was amazing as well. The fish tacos were ok and the tres leches was subpar.

Great food and the authenticity is on point. The black ants and bugs are a bit weird but once you ask for the historical reference it calms you down lol

Amazing food. Amazing cocktails. Small, but fresh menu and helpful staff. Why this place was not more crowded on a Friday night was baffling. But, when I am in the East Village again, this would be my 1st choice.
