The Black Marlin prides itself on serving fantastic food at a great value in a fun and festive setting. Our commitment to exceeding expectations has made The Black Marlin one of the most popular dining destinations not only in Old Town Tustin, but in Southern California.     Went for live music on Sunday afternoon. Made special request on reservation to not be right next to band and they handled it well without me having to say anything.

    This is the place to have a quick business lunch. Excellent menu, polite and fast service, and a great price. Katie is the manager and welcomes every guest and does a great job of running the restaurant. I can tell all of the employees like what they do and are well trained.

    Always fun and nice to bring new people thee. I asked for something that was not on the new menu, but the chef made it for me anyway, Oysters Rockefeller!!! I was my birthday and that's my favorite. Our guests were also impressed and said they will be coming back.

    We went to The Black Marlin on a recommendation and we're glad we went. Our server Matt was attentive, a pleasure and suggested a great IPA. The Island Poke Nachos and Sriracha Shrimp appetizers were incredible as were the Halibut and Center Cut Filet Mignon. Complements to the Chefs and thank you!

    I enjoyed the Wharf Style fish chowder, tomato-based and full of delightful small pieces of fish and veggies. I also had a Marlin house salad to round out my lunch. Both were very tasty and made for a hearty lunch. The service was great and made for an enjoyable outing in Tustin!

    The mahi mahi special w mango sauce was really good, the drinks were good as well. It was a small place and I cans see why people complain it's too loud, if your by the bar or stage you wont be able to talk. I was expecting a bluewater grill type of place but it's more of a small bar which is fine. I never go to a sea food place to get chicken or steak lol. I did think it was overpriced, plenty of fine dining places for what I spent here. Waitress was good, asked for a booth because I read the reviews. I would be back for sure, but may have to think about it because of the price. Items seem just like 4 to 6 bucks more expensive and they're not that much better. That being said i was happy w my experience here and my meal.
