Open seven days a week, The Capital Grille is best known for our expertly prepared steaks, which are dry aged in house for 18 to 24 days and then hand-cut by our restaurant's on-premise butcher. The Capital Grille's wine list features more than 350 selections, and its floor-to-ceiling wine kiosk regularly houses 3,500 - 5,000 bottles. Reservations are recommended but not required.     The special Thanksgiving dinner was amazing! The turkey, mashed potatoes, honey sweet potatoes, stuffing and green beans were all delicious. The service was top notch and everyone we encountered made us feel welcomed. Our server, Jonathan, was extremely attentive, answered all our questions, offered recommendations after listening to our preferences and did it all with patience and friendliness. Can't wait to return.

    Thanksgiving dinner was excellent. We had the turkey dinner. The food came out hot, seasoned with flavors of Thanksgiving. Our server Heather was very nice and just a joy for the special occasion. I was also celebrating my birthday. Our steak came out a little late; it was cooked to perfection the way we ordered it. Heather gave us a slice of complimentary pumpkin cheesecake (delicious) since the steak came out late. She was very apologetic but it was very busy so we totally understood. Plus it’s Thanksgiving. She was serving us and not with her family with the most pleasant attitude. I highly recommend Capital Grille for any special occasion. The hostess stand staff can be a little more inviting. Overall great experience and dinner.

    Nestled in the heart of the bustling Chevy Chase shopping and dining scene, we were promptly seated at a lively table near the kitchen, setting the stage for an exciting evening. Our server, Collin, was exceptional—his attentiveness ensured our orders were perfect, promptly resolving any minor hiccups. The food was delightful, with the freshly made lemonade standing out as a refreshing highlight. However, the lobster mac and cheese fell short of expectations. Despite this, I can’t wait to return and indulge in my favorites again like the French Onion soup. If you’re looking for a vibrant atmosphere and stellar service, this spot is worth a visit!

    Wonderful birthday experience for my best friend! We splurged and ate to our hearts delight. Lamb chops are delicious, burrata & tomatoes, and desserts are best! Our server made the experience totally worthwhile. Love Capital Grille!
