   As always, great drinks and food and excellent service. Brett was really great. The roasted chicken with risotto was amazing, as was the bacon appetizer.

   While we can usually can count on dining at The Capital Grill to be flawless, this visit was an exception. We were seated after 5-10 mins in a comfortable booth. Our waiter greeted us and took our drink order, a Stoli Doli for me, and a Cape Codder for my husband. We waited for our drink order for a few minutes before our server came back and said it would be just a few minutes. We continued to wait and again he came over and told us that the drinks would be out shortly. Again he returned without the drinks, and wanted to take our order. We ordered a soup and salad in hopes our drinks would arrive first. They did not! We had eaten half or more before the drinks arrived. We took time to enjoy our cocktails and he returned to take our dinner order. We ordered a Ribeye Steak, creamed Spinach and truffle fries. He repeated our order back to us twice before walking away from the table. A few minutes later, he returned again ( I was assuming our order was already placed) but no, he wanted to verify the order one more time. Our meal arrived in a reasonable amount of time and he brought the steak, truffle fries and sautéed spinach with garlic. We reminded him that we ordered the creamed spinach, not the sautéed spinach. He apologized and told us to keep the sautéed spinach and he’d bring us the creamed spinach right away. Halfway through our meal he brought out the spinach. We noticed our steak was not especially hot, but did not want to confuse him or wait any longer, so we said nothing and ate it as it was. Upon leaving he brought us out a sample dessert and apologized for the errors. Unfortunately, this was not the dinner or experience that we had hoped for as we were both looking forward to this dinner and we had to travel there since there are no other Capital Grille Restaurants in our area.

   This time we went for lunch, as we were craving their Grille’s Signature Cheeseburger. I’m certain to make this statement, they’ve managed to reach perfection with the few adjustments, our waiter and friend, Jose Alvelo shared with with us. WOW what a great burger, of course, with our appetizer of choice ¨The Classic Negroni¨

   The Wagyu and Wine event is a favorite. The food was delicious and our server, Tristan, was excellent. Will definitely go back.

    My boyfriend and I took part in the Wagyu and Wine dinner for our anniversary. It was a fantastic experience! They wrote us a sweet card and tastefully decorated our table with a some heart confetti. The dinner was delicious and our waiter Rob was top notch. We will definitely be back again, tell our friends and ask for Rob!
