   Dined in Providence location. Entree for one in our party was incorrect. Very little was done to correct the issue, and there was no follow up at all. The server admitted he made a mistake but did not remove and replace it with the entree I had ordered. It was pretty shocking to all of us. Sides were also incorrect, but they were replaced. For a restaurant charging prices at this level, I would expect a high degree of accuracy, service and resolution, and all were lacking. Very disappointing. My family and I will be choosing another restaurant next Christmas Eve.

   We celebrate Christmas Eve with the Capital Grille every year. It’s been 10 + years and we have never been disappointed. Chris and his team are fantastic. This year Matt was our server and he was knowledgeable, warm and personable. They are a staple in Providence and I highly recommend to visit anytime for a truly special meal & experience.

   Overall our dining experience was a delight from greeter to finish. The food was delicious and our server was impeccable which made for a memorable experience. Would add this restaurant to our list for a revisit. Our server John Burke was fabulous!!!

   I really enjoy the Capital Grille. This past experience was a bit disappointing. We were seated promptly upon arrival, however it took 10 minutes before any staff greeted us. We were approached by an assistant who gave us water and we waited again before a server came to greet us. Offer a drink and offer additions to the menu. We ordered our food but after ordering we over heard the table next to us ordering burgers and sandwiches. We were never offered the lunch menu. After ordering our server came back and admitted she wanted to double check how we wanted our steaks cook because she had forgotten. When we received our steaks they were cooked to the wrong temperature. I wanted to complain but I was spending time with my son and that was more important. It’s just so expensive to eat there i have an expectation of a higher level of service and a $65 steak should be cooked to my request

   Capital grill is always top notch. You go there knowing that the steaks, drinks etc are the best. Disappointing to see so many in tee shirts, or hoodies. When did this become ok. I can see if we were at chilis, but the capital grill? Surprised it’s even allowed. Or the photo shoots of selfies with lights in the middle of the restaurant for social media. Of course pictures are great and the restaurant is decorated beautifully but for what you are paying for I would think management might step in. Hope it’s a one off.

    Ken took good care of us service-wise and Chris the GM was oversees a first class operation. Everything was perfect.
