We had a wonderful lunch at SO/ Berlin Das Stue. The lunch menu is a bit smaller than the dinner menu, but the chef created an additional option for us.

Ich hatte nach einer neuen Location für ein Geschäftsessen gesucht. Wichtige Kriterien waren eine zentrale Lage, eine hochwertige Küche und Ruhe und "Privatheit" für ein Gespräch. Der letzte Punkt wurde voll erfüllt. Das The Casual ist sehr ruhig, man hat alle Ruhe auch zum Besprechen von sensiblen Themen. Das Essen war aus meiner Sicht (und auch aus der Sicht meines Gesprächspartners) allerdings wirklich schlecht. Eine sehr bittere Tomatensuppe, ein halbtrockener Seeteufel (war noch gerade so ok) in einer sehr seltsam schmeckenden Sauce etc. Das Beste an diesem Abend war das Brot und die Mascarpone, die mein Geschäftspartner als Nachtisch bestellt hatte. Ich kenne viele Fine Dining Restaurants in Berlin und liebe neue Geschmackserlebnisse - das The Casual war bzgl. Preis/Leistung eine der bislang schlechtesten Erfahrungen. Das Personal war nett und sehr bemüht (z.T. ausschließlich englischsprachig). Man spürte aber auch hier den allseits grassierenden Personal-/Fachkräftemangel (z.B. beim Auflegen des Bestecks). Das wäre aber alles leicht verschmerzter - wenn da nicht diese schlechte Küche wäre... schade um die Location!

Das Essen war geschmacklich enttäuschend und dem Ambiente nicht entsprechend. Der Service nicht besonders aufmerksam. Ich würde mich für ein Dinner mit freundepdas nächste mal für ein anderes Restaurant entscheiden

Der Name The Casual ist Programm. Leckeres Essen in entspannter, Design verwöhnter Atmosphäre. Umsorgt von einem super aufmerksamen Service.

We enjoyed our dinner at the Casual. The food was delicious, the service was attentive, and the wine selection was chosen. It was not fussy…an thoroughly enjoyable experience

We had a business lunch at The Casual and we were all very impressed wiht the restaurant/service/bar lounge/building/location, etc. The following day we had arranged lunch with other clients somewhere else but we cancelled the reservation and booked it at The Casual again. Excellent decision! Danke!

Tolles und modernes Ambiente in diesem historischen Gebäude. Das Essen war sehr lecker und der Service ausgesprochen aufmerksam und sympathisch.
