Another outstanding dinner at The Cottage. We really shouldn't wait until a birthday or anniversary to dine here. The food is the best in Westport. And the service is really enjoyable, too.

Mixed feelings, food was average but more importantly inconsistent. Starters were good, steak also, but lobster pasta and risotto were very bad. Maybe our choices were poor. Ambience is good as is also service though we felt they wanted us out fast as we got the check in the middle of eating our dessert. Clearly not what we expected.

Service was great however while my wife’s dinner was excellent half of my Wagyu steak was inedible. The grizzle was so prevalent I couldn’t even cut it much less chew it.
