Afternoon tea was divine. The food was traditional English afternoon tea fare, cucumber & salmon sandwiches, scones and pastries that were delicious. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The ambiance is lovely.

The experience was great, the food was okay, the atmosphere was wonderful, the service was lacking this time. The waitress only came over when we got her attention if we needed something and then we waited 25 min for our bill. We were finished way before the table behind us, who came in after us; however, they got all the service and received their bill before we were even noticed. We had to ask for everything and there was a time we actually had nobody around to help us as they were all standing around in the back kitchen.

The afternoon tea was delicious. The scones were so good, and the sandwiches also. Did not care for the hummus tart. The tea was one of the best I've ever had. Service was friendly and outstanding.

Afternoon tea at The Drawing Room inside the Prince of Wales was an absolutely charming experience that exceeded all expectations. The elegance of the space is undeniable, deeply rooted in the rich history of the hotel. From the moment you approach the building, the Victorian style captivates you—it's like stepping back in time, in the most beautiful way. Inside, the tea room is tastefully decorated with vintage touches that carry through from the furniture to the table settings. Every detail, from the delicate teapots to the fine china, oozes old-world English charm. It truly felt like a classic English tea experience. The food and tea were simply amazing. Each tier of the afternoon tea was beautifully presented, from the exquisite finger sandwiches to the decadent desserts. The cheese and fruit plates were perfectly curated and balanced. And the scones? Absolutely to die for—warm, flaky, and served with all the right accompaniments. We were lucky to have Brooklyn as our server, and her service was nothing short of exceptional. She was attentive, warm, and added such a personal touch to our visit. At $55 per person, this experience is a true treat and worth every penny. If you're looking for an elegant afternoon tea steeped in Victorian charm, The Drawing Room at the Prince of Wales is a must-visit.
