My wife and I have enjoyed each of our experiences at the restaurant at The French Manor. We spent the night at the Manor to help celebrate our 20th anniversary. At the restaurant, we were warmly welcomed and given a selection of tables to seat. The ambiance was very pleasant and the noise level compared to most restaurants was amount nonexistent. The menu gave use many great choices and what we ordered was excellent. The service was commendable and attentive. While it is a bit expensive, the experience was worth it.

A delicious meal that exceeded all expectations! Hubby had the coq au van special and I had the duck. Both were super delicious. I started with the lobster bisque - it was a lot thinner/brothy-er than other bisques I’ve had but it was SO good! And definitely don’t skip the fabulous bread service. Little touches like a pre-meal amuse bouche and a between courses palette cleanser sorbet elevated the whole experience. Wait staff was knowledgeable and so helpful, without being at all intrusive. The ambiance in the room is romantic and elegant. A very lovely evening indeed.

Excellent French and American cuisine in a beautiful timbered dining room. High ceilings, fireplaces, great views. Great for romantic night out. Definitely on the pricy side, but nice portion sizes and relaxing atmosphere. Some of the appetizers and ‘small plates’ are almost large enough to replace an entree. Some of the dishes were a little heavy on cream sauces so this is not diet food, altho there are vegetarians dishes. Definitely recommended if you don’t mind paying a little extra.

We would definitely come back, we would just order different dishes next time. The lamb was good but the Dijon mustard had a strong taste.. which is to be expected just wasn’t our favorite, and the lobster bisque was extremely salty. The duck was very well prepared and very tasty. Dessert was also very good. Overall the staff were very friendly and welcoming and the environment was just the right amount of energy we like. Not too loud and relaxed with a soft piano playing.

Celebrated my wife’s birthday. Staff was phenomenal and the food was superb. I had the duck and she had the lamb chops. My wife said it was the best she’s ever tasted. We stayed for dessert, pumpkin cake and apple caramel cheesecake. Both delicious. Fabulous experience from start to finish. Highly recommend!
