Serving contemporary French food, this much-loved independent restaurant has been going strong for over 22 years.
Before booking, please note the restaurant has both downstairs and upstairs.
The same menu options are available on both floors. There is no lift upstairs.
Re Tasting Menu Timings: At lunch you must book before 1.45pm, and at dinner before 8.45pm. Tasting menus are not available outside of these times.
If you cannot find a table, please contact the restaurant team direct as not all tables are available to book online. Please contact the restaurant with any private dining enquiries or group bookings 7+
Credit card details required. No shows or cancellations less than 2 days in advance will be subject to a charge of £25 per person.

Came for a birthday lunch with family, and had a wonderful time. Service and food were 10/10. Nice relaxed atmosphere and ambiance at the restaurant (sat upstairs), the meal was lovely and they go the extra mile to make it feel like a special meal. Would definitely recommend!

This was a truly wonderful experience from minute we walked into restaurant with lovely personalised service , to superb sommelier and great service throughout. The French cuisine was outstanding - superb combination in selection with main course halibut with lobster saffron risotto quite suoerb. The rabit ravioli was perfectcly cooked too. Wonderful !

Amazing food and wine Great attentive service Recommend the five course taster menu with the wine pairing, easier to let the experts match the perfect wine for the dish. Always excellent.

Outstanding from start to finish. The staff were outstanding; Judith, Sarah and Emily (?), as well as a fourth member whose name I did not catch but all were so welcoming and made our anniversary meal very special, starting with 2 complimentary glasses of prosecco. I opted for the lunch 3 course menu, my wife the Classics menu. My pate starter was so smooth, unctuous. The Cornish Sea Bream full of flavour, and the panacotta just so perfect I did not want it to end. My wife had the seared tuna, confit ducks leg and I can't recall the dessert but it was so light. She said it was the best meals she had ever had. We ended up sharing our plates! All washed down with a bottle of Picpoul de Pinet. We staggered out at 3 ish, and cannot wait to return.

Outstanding - as always ! This restaurant hits the spot and ticks the boxes every time, without fail, a treat to visit and enjoy lunch here. Superb French cuisine, great ambience and decor,fantastic staff. Will be back, soon. Exemplary cuisine.

Lovely lunch time menu, excellent service, staff very aware of my husbands nut and shellfish allergy and took time to explain which foods would be suitable for him. We would highly recommend this restaurant . This was not our first visit and we would certainly return.
