   Excellent service .the staff were all polite ,friendly and attentive. The Food. well how can I put this well presented ,outstanding probably the best steak I’ve had in years,the wife had the Sunday dinner and loved it, this was my first visit and definitely won’t be my last. Thankyou to everyone at this restaurant for making our experience a happy one till the next time

   Food was amazing couldn’t believe how busy it was at 7pm booking definitely advised. Staff were great friendly & helpful nothing too much trouble. Great atmosphere & not too noisy. Would definitely return if lived locally. A must try.

   Me and my husband visited the Galleon recently (12/11/24 @ 5pm) to celebrate our 30th Wedding Anniversary. We received a really warm welcome from Matthew when when we arrived and he seated us to our table straight away. The restaurant has a really lovely ambiance to it and the decor is classy. We had a couple of drinks, Cruzcampo lager - which we hadn't tried before but it was really good!! Matthew came over and had a little chat with us both and then it came to choosing our meals from the extensive menu. We both opted for the chicken liver pate as a starter, which was a superb choice as it was absolutely outstanding! My husband then ordered the fillet steak (medium/well) and it was cooked to perfection - he commented that it was by far, the best steak he'd ever eaten (and trust me he can be difficult to please when it comes to food)! I had the Hunters chicken which was also excellent. The portion sizes were really good. We unfortunately couldn't manage a dessert as we were too full. From start to finish the service from Matthew was fantastic, he couldn't do enough for us and the food was truly phenomenal. It really made our wedding anniversary special. A really lovely restaurant with great staff, beautiful surroundings and scrumptious food. Well done Galleon Steakhouse. We will be back!

   Seated within minutes of turning up, service and food was outstanding and value for money and did not have to wait long for the food to be served which was about 25 minutes

    Me and my wife recently celebrated our anniversary and we were really impressed by our experience. The food was top notch and the service was excellent. I highly recommend.
