Located on the grounds of the Oak Creek community, the Grove stems from a rich history that began in 1819, where the original eight hundred and fifty acres of land was filled with Oak trees that has now become the foundation for this community. The word Grove serves as a metaphor between the many families who represent our community and a group of oaks which is the symbol of “strength” and “endurance”. The Grove is a casual fine dining experience meant to bring family and friends together. Sleek, inviting, and comfortable design elements makes The Grove the perfect place to Be, Eat, and Celebrate.

The service was really bad. The restaurant was very empty so I was very surprised. We had to ask our waitress for napkins, the check, utensils, etc. She didn’t check on us one time and was on her phone or otherwise occupied.

The Grove is a hidden gem. The food was very good and the service was excellent. It is a good place to go for a nice dinner with good size portions at a reasonable price. The ambience was nice with an upscale crowd. The hostess Ms. Ethel is very knowledgeable about The Grove and treated us like family. I highly recommend The Grove and will definitely return.

Even though I made reservations and received a confirmation when I arrived at the restaurant it was closed for a private event. This is the fourth time this has happened to me. The manager apologized and made a promise to reduce my check on my next visit. I was asked to email him with my details. I have done so TWICE with no response from him. Due to his lack of interest in retaining me as a customer I feel it necessary to give a poor rating. When I have actually dined there my experience has been nothing short of great, Hopefully management will honor their promises in the future.

I went for Sunday brunch buffet. It was basic. Decent variety but nothing was that good. Customer service was slow despite it being quiet

I’ve eaten at The Grove many times. Today, we had an underwhelming experience there. We made reservations for 11:30am for Father’s Day. To our surprise and disappointment, we learned The Grove is no longer serving brunch. Instead, we were give a Father’s Day menu with a very limited food selection. We had a small party of 4 people and had to wait an hour for the food. I observed other people leave the establishment without eating at all due to the tremendous wait for their food or simply not sit down to dine after learning brunch is no longer being served. We tried to give this new experience at The Grove a chance, but will not be returning due to poor food selection, mediocre taste and poor service.

I was very disappointed! I took my husband here for Father’s Day, but without any public notice, the Sunday brunch was canceled and a new menu was provided. No one in our party enjoyed our food. The tip was already included for our party of three, which I didn’t mind, but there was no notice up front. While our server was nice and the hostess was very pleasant, a DJ took over an hour to set up. We will not return nor recommend this place.

My reservation was at 2:30 on Mother’s Day, however the hostess did not have my table ready. Table for 5. It took about 10 minutes for my party to be seated. The table was awkwardly place and impossible to pass without bumping into the chairs at the table close to us. The cloth napkins at my table smelled horrible! I was not expecting buffet style only, I was not able to order from the menu. The Buffett was horrible!! The food was not good and not worth $40!! The waffles were hard, my kids would not eat them. The salad was not fresh, the cucumbers were soggy and lettuce wilted and black. Lastly, the dessert options were pre-frozen slices of cheesecake and they were cut into mini slivers. I was not pleased with my meal, no one in my party was. The only positive was the live band, the music was excellent!!

The food was good however, if they serve greens, they need to have cornbread or another bread to go along with the meal. There was also a slight sour odor to so e if glasses when served with drinks.

The visit was for Mother's Day and the food was horrible. Bacon almost raw. The shrimp and grits were remarkably the worst. The only thing in my party's opinion that was edible was the salad, fruit and fish. The boiled/steamed veggies were 90% salt, you could not even taste the vegetables. We had a very attentive waiter, that was refreshing. The place was clean, and it was nice to hear live entertainment. Needless to say this is 2nd time that we have patronized this facility and had bad food, but this time was certainly worse than the first visit a couple of years ago; we thought we'd give it another try, and just like that almost $200 later we are very unsatisfied and will not return for food again, we ended up calling and picking up take-out from another restaurant, and paid the same amount of money, so it cost us $400 to eat in 1 day. Very disappointing and embarrassing, as we brought guest that were visiting from the West Coast. In the future if there is a specific event that we decide to attend, we will certainly eat before attending.
