My soup was delicious, but sadly the steak was not cooked to order (but was corrected when sent back) and the béarnaise sauce lacked character: the rumor of tarragon and lack of vinegar resulted in a very bland béarnaise, which if tasted blind could have easily passed as hollandaise. Sticky toffee pudding was a too dry and the caramel sauce became a necessity rather than a complement.

Such a nice warm welcome And consideration for my 90 year old mother. Lovely atmosphere and attentive service. Food very delicious though some not as hot as it could have been. Good value and very enjoyable.

Thankyou for a glorious meal on Christmas Eve in a beautiful environment which brought me and my girlfriend closer together. The flambe Christmas pudding was the highlight- the best Christmas pudding I have ever tasted- light yet rich and fruity.

During my visit the waiting staff saved a lady’s life who was choking on a piece of food and held the situation very delicately. Well done.
