The Lake House features Canadian Rocky Mountain Resorts‘ (CRMR’s) renowned and distinctive Rocky Mountain Cuisine. This is interpreted and presented by Chef Gareth Colville. The Lakehouse is an excellent restaurant. The beet salad was great. The elk was cooked to perfection and the dish excellent. The sticker toffee pudding finished off a perfect meal.

I haven't been to the Lake House in quite sometime. The food is always good, and the service is also very good. I find it so cramped when I go there. I guess everyone needs to squeeze as many tables as possible. It is a great restaurant and has wonderful staff. We were well taken care of.

Overall it was the best Anniversary experience, it's our 18th year and the lake house made it more special for us. We will definitely celebrating more beautiful memories in this restaurant!

Chef made me a celiac-safe roast chicken dinner that was absolutely delicious. Table of 4 we all had a different protein elk, lamb, beef and chicken. All delicious!!! My husband had not been to The Lake House since the early 1980s. We were visiting from Ontario and hope to return again:)

It can be a challenge to find a quality restaurant open between Christmas and New Year’s in Calgary. The Lake House is open, so we could celebrate my husband’s birthday somewhere special. Our server Darcy was both attentive and engaging. All the appetizers and main courses were tasty and well prepared. We four shared a small charcuterie dish and oxtail agnolotti, and then all had a main course of grilled ribeye. We were all happily full.

Had a wonderful evening with friends to celebrate the Christmas season. Had a fabulous time with awesome martinis, outstanding food and service. Hats off to Frank for his service and entertainment. He definitely earned his tip. We might have to make this a regular evening out. Definitely 5 plus star rating.
