Service was poor, charged an extra 45 dollar fee for “gratuity” without us being able to do anything about it. Server had little knowledge about gluten free food even tho our server the first time was excellent! It really just depends who you get as your waiter/waitress. The Caesar salad was missing the pine nuts that coke on top, even though the menu clearly stated it’s come with them, when I asked the waitress for the pine nuts she acted like she had no idea what I was talking about. The flaming turtle chocolate fondue we got they are supposed to poor some type of liquor on top and light it on fire, she did not do that. The server we had the first time we went back in October was excellent, the lady we had last night was not.

Drinks took forever. We finished our appetizers and salads before receiving our first drink. We had just received our dessert when we were asked if we were about to leave for the next table to sit down?! We were so rushed it was unpleasant. We won’t be back.

It was Valentines Day so upon entering was told there was a set menu. Ok, that was an option only when booking but ok. Walked in and place was super dark and so dirty when we were sat at our table it had to be cleaned because it was too sticky to sit down. This was 5:30 pm so in my opinion way too early to have been too busy to clean right. Waitress was exceptional, we loved her and she did a phenomenal job presenting and serving. Drinks were good as well but when it comes to the food, very disappointed and it was subpar. At $105+ oer person for the food, it should have been at least good. The whole experience of courses was fun but the quality of the food, including paying more for Lobster was just not good. Before we could even get to the 2nd course we had already decided we wouldn’t go back. Once the main entree came we just ate some of it and honestly cooked the rest to bring home to our dogs. Maybe they’ll eat it? Our waitress offered us some variations of the fixed menu for dessert and we actually enjoyed that. Now, we didn’t complain because what’s the point? It is what it is. My whole point is the quality did not match the cost the least little bit. Won’t be back…

We are fans of the melting pot! It is undoubtedly my wife’s favorite dining experience. So we are there frequently during holidays and special occasions. This Valentine’s Day was no exception to our routine, however, we were a bit dismayed at the limited option menu and automatic gratuity, added to the bill after the fact. I understand that they are trying to move people through the restaurant as frequently as possible on these special days and therefore limiting the menu should allow that to be the case… However, our server was often nowhere to be found and honestly, the level of service did not live up to the 40+ dollars mandatory gratuity that was added to the bill. don’t take me wrong, we tip well for excellent service… The place was not overly busy, but under the circumstances of having a limited menu in order to move people through, we found ourselves waiting between each course, a fairly substantial amount of time that was unnecessary and only because the server was not as attentive as she might could have been. That said, the menu price per person was nearly double what we would have expected to spend here on a normal dinner and though the portions were generous, they were definitely not any higher quality or larger portion than we would’ve expected otherwise so that is why I am giving them such a low score for “value”. So, will we be back? Yes, of course we will. But I will likely find a different place to celebrate special occasions when they have a fixed menu instead of their regular options.

Our waitress Reagan was fantastic! We showed up for our 7:15 reservation at 7:10, we were not seated until 45 minutes later. A bit frustrating when they’re very strict on reservations. We got our cheese/bread etc after finishing it was another 15/20 minutes before salads came out, the waitress had to make them herself. I understand the place being busy around the holiday, but it’s not their first rodeo. We go every year and this was just a disappointing experience.
