Booked via open table. Arrived and was told they didn’t serve food, and I should have got a cancellation for my booking. Shame. Had to find somewhere else on a Dec evening.

Our waiter seemed rather stressed (and annoyed) Also, almost no gluten free dishes on the menu. So we had to order a couple of starters. This very rarely happens so we were really surprised (and disappointed). The menu at the restaurant didn't match with what's online. Don't think we'll go back.

The Mug House is a combination wine bar & restaurant. If you are seated close to the bar section it may be a bit noisey. Where we were seated was fine. The first waiter was attentive and wine selection very good. The food was good but felt the steak was overpriced. Liked having the trio of deserts as well. We booked the two for one offer which if we hadn't felt that the meal and wine was overpriced.

Good food, service and a lovely olde worldy feel to the pub. We have visited the Mughouse whenever we have visitors to us in London and have never had a bad experience.

We happened to have booked, if we hadn’t we may not have stayed, unfortunately a lovely evening outside there was no one inside! So great service, food cooked perfectly as we have private dining!

Everything was great but i did see a mouse scurry across the floor, also we had a 2 for 1 deal which made it great value but would be a little overpriced without the deal!

Lovely food but surprisingly for a wine specialist the rose wine wasn’t chilled despite my specifically saying it must be chilled. It seems to be a Davy problem because it was the same at the crusting pipe
