The first port of call for stylish, relaxed dining, The Oyster Smack Inn has a modern, clean décor in coastal shades with wood floors and handmade furnishings, a stove burning during cooler months. Chef-Patron Trevor chooses the finest seasonal food for his menu, taking advantage of the Inn’s proximity to the coast by sourcing superb seafood for modern British food with a touch of elegance. Pub favourites are enjoyed at The Oyster Smack Inn at lunchtime while the evening sees things take a more refined turn.     We had never been to burnham before and needed to pass a couple of hours whilst getting the car serviced. We went to the oyster smack for lunch based only on the strength of previous reviews and did not know what to expect. What we got was an interesting menu, friendly and efficient service, and brilliant food. It's also worth mentioning that unlike some gastro pubs, we left completely full as well as satisfied - and for £35 per head with wine for three courses. We'll be back.

    Visiting relatives we booked to eat (and stay) at the Oyster Smack. The meal that we all enjoyed was very good and the service and atmosphere were also good.

    Wonderful food & a lovely atmosphere. The staff are incredibly friendly & welcoming & couldn't do enough for us. The meal was fantastic & the drinks were lovely, even had a couple of cocktails :) I'd booked a room as well & it was perfect, spacious & clean & very reasonably priced. Would highly recommend visiting

    One of the best Sunday lunches we have had in a long time well done to all the staff, thank you for an amazing lunch highly recommend the belly pork and service great

    The downside was very very hot in restaurant and surf and turf states with garlic prawns ,should say prawn didn't think it was worth £22.00. I must state that was my husbands meal and my son in laws mine was excellent .

    We chose this restaurant for a reunion with some friends based on a recommendation. We were not disappointed. The food, service atmosphere were all 5 star. The restaurant was nearly full which created a busy friendly ambience. Service was both friendly and efficient, food excellent, wish we had room for the desserts. Will look forward to another visit

    Special place, well worth a visit. Excellent welcome, great food and outstanding value. The Oyster Smack Inn ranks No 2 on Trip Advisor and I can see why. Great place to eat.

    We went for Sunday lunch at the Oyster Snack. Although it didn't look like anyone else was waiting for their meal we waited half an hour to be served. I had the pork belly, which was fine. My OH had the roast beef. It was a small portion and not very warm. We should have sent it back, but didn't want another long wait. The desserts were nice, but we wouldn't go back.
