Another fabulous meal at the Caper! We had the warm goat appetizer, brussel & apple salad, green goddess salad, miso salmon, duck a deux façons and the crabby scallops. Great service, great drinks ( we love the pink fedora!) and delicious perfectly cooked food. We’ve never had a bad meal here and is always a must go to spot while in town.

Both the food and the service were exceptional. I went early so the noise level was low. The ambiance was warm and friendly yet also sophisticated. I had salmon sashimi appetizer which melted in my mouth, tenderloin medallion perfectly cooked to medium rare, and the green beans were delightful (tender, but with a little crunch). The fingerling potatoes were tender but not overcooked. I wanted a cabernet sauvignon and the waiter's recommendation went very well with the meal. Even my coffee (black) was good.

Food was excellent. The servers were friendly and attentive, but there was a mix up in who was the server assigned to the table, and there was an obvious reassignment by the head server. This was a bit awkward. Then, even though the servers were attentive, the kitchen got behind and we waited an hour for our food. There wasn’t any acknowledgment of this by the staff. Nor was there even complimentary bread service. My husband had to remind the server to bring his wine. Since the food was so good, we may try them again. But servers need to be more aware of the guests experience and be prepared to intervene and offer a complimentary bread or something when they see the kitchen is behind.

The only issue is the “requirement” that you order everything at the same time. We were seated and waiting for our friend to arrive and told we could not order an appetizer while we waited. Finally the waiter got “permission” to allow us to order an app! That’s weird. It’s not cheap to eat there so this just seems like a way to rush you in and out when e we’re there to “dine”

Food was amazing. Unfortunately, the waiter was arrogant, rude and not customer friendly. Everything was based on his schedule not what we needed. Most of our guests felt this way.
