We went to the Prime Rib for the first time since the Pandemic and since they "renovated". First I really could not tell the difference from whatever renovations they did. The tables are still very close together. Despite being a Tuesday night, all the tables were filled pretty close together, so it was a bit noisy. There was 1 or 2 waiters that were working in the area, and it became a 2-1/2 hour meal on a Tuesday night! Everything took way too long from start to finish. The food is Ok, Good, not Great. When you consider the pricing, it is not a good value in my opinion. The Sea Bass was good, not as good I remembered. The chopped steak was great and probably the only thing that we could say that about. The salmon was also good. The Clams Casino was great, the Potato skins were just OK. I was glad to try it again, though it really just does not meet my expectations based on their history, ratings, and prices.

I had the pleasure of taking my wife to this restaurant for her birthday. We had 7 o'clock reservations on a Sunday night. The ambiance was great. Our server was wonderful. However the food was ok. We ordered the 28oz Prime Rib eye (shareable). We asked for medium well, but they over cooked it. It was still palatable. However, we were a little disappointed, but not enough to complain. Our al gratin potatoes were dry and lacked the cheesy texture were used to at other upscale restaurants. Thankfully the meal was saved by the Imperial style option that we added on the side. The crab meat definitely saved the meal. We would go back again, but ask for medium next time for sure.

We had an early reservation, so the restaurant was very quiet for most of our meal. Everything was outstanding, from shrimp cocktail, through crab Cakes and Halibut and including chocolate mouse dessert.

Had a really good meal, though my NY Strip was a big Luke warm and my creamed spinach was dry. The potatoes au gratin were great and the loaded baked potato was good as well. My Dad said his 6oz fillet was amazing. Nathan was a wonderful server.

Been going to The Prime Rib for decades. Hands down the best fine dining experience in Baltimore. It has old world charm and sophistication that you can’t find in most places. The atmosphere with piano and jazz is outstanding. Our server was pretty good. When it got busy we didn’t see him as much as I would have liked but overall he was very professional and knowledgeable. The food was excellent. I always get prime rib but my friend got the pork chop and it was delicious. The crab claw appetizer is a must as well as the side of potato skins
