   We been coming to the Saddle River Inn for many years. The food quality, ambiance and service are all excellent. The prices, like most great restaurants have increased proportion the economy and times. The only negative factor is that it can be difficult yo get reservations, especially for a Friday or Saturday evening. Otherwise, we still will look forward to our next opportunity to enjoy this fine restaurant.

   Saddle River Inn gets it right every single time, from the moment you walk through the door, it becomes an experience. The service is absolutely impeccable. Every member of the team knows what to do and when to do it. Our favorite server is Tye, he is the best server we have ever encountered anywhere. The food is top notch. Some of the best food I’ve ever had. We shared the lump crab salad, and app size portion of the cavatelli, the octopus, and the tiger shrimp…all outstanding. Main entrees where perfect too! The lamb and sirloin were cooked perfectly and sooooo delicious. And wow! The French toast dessert was unlike anything I’ve ever had, I hope they add it to the permanent menu.

   Restaurant was beautiful. Service was impeccable. Food (from appetizer to dessert) was outstanding. Reservation is very difficult to get, but definitely worth the wait.

   I have dined at the SRI many times. Service and food is typically always outstanding. This time however the food while excellent was sloppily plated and served with cold potatoes. I expected better when paying $95 a plate. Hopefully the chef was just having an off night.

   Food was excellent as usual and BYOB allows for a special bottle of wine without a sizeable restaurant markup. The service is the best I’ve experienced, including any Michelin star restaurant. My wife’s steak was slightly undercooked and it was the waiter who noticed it when checking on how we liked our food. A waiter proactively catching a less than perfect dish (very rare at this restaurant) is commendable. Will continue to come back when we are able to get reservations. Simply the best in the area.

    Great service ambiance and food! It was a wonderful New Years Eve dinner. Our dessert that night was delicious- complaints to the pastry chef!
