Delightful menu showcasing great ingredients. We always enjoy dining at The Saddle Room. The service is attentive without being overbearing. The wine list by the glass is well chosen. The portions are well judged so that we feel full but not stuffed. We especially enjoyed the lamb on this occasion.

I had an excellent dinner on a Monday night. The four of us had superbly cooked steaks and a few bottles of wine and thoroughly enjoyed the experience.

Treated poorly after reluctant to charge as per their on line 47eu 3 course pre 6.30 offer, saying it ended last week. It was still offered on their web site prior to booking same day! Asked to wait 15 minutes while waiting for manager to return from break! Red wine initially served in white wine glass, overfilled! Cod dish served markedly over cooked and hard and dry! Very disappointing as we had had a wonderful experience only 3 weeks ago.

The Saddle Room is an excellent hotel dining room/restaurant that focuses on good quality food and a friendly service provided by its very professional waiting staff. We ate Sunday lunch there and were not rushed from our table. Apart from one very loud opinionated lady at another table the ambience was very good and as the restaurant filled up her voice was drowned out. The prices are not cheap but then they are not cheap in restaurants of the same standard so I cannot knock them on this. Overall a very enjoyable experience.
