Located in what was once the old train depot in Lantana, The Station House Restaurant has become one of the most renowned establishments for authentic Maine lobsters in the state of Florida. The Station House opened its doors in 1993 and since then has been a favorite of both locals and seasonal visitors for many years.

                                                                  The whole 2lb lobster was sweet and easy to cut; the server cracked the lobster meat out of the shell. It was an enjoyable experience while being seated outside. The only downside was the high price; $82! I would still go back next year! BTW- our server, Alexandria, was excellent.

                                                                  A perfect place to get down and dirty with a lobster. Our meal was perfectly prepared and expertly served. We go here mainly for the lobster and it has never disappointed us. It’s not a fancy highbrow restaurant but it does what it does better than most.

                                                                  My husband and I have been to The Station House plenty of times and had wonderful dinners. We decided to take some friends in tonight so that they could enjoy The Station‘s delicious meals. Unfortunately, the snapper was dry and tasteless. The steak tidbits were like rubber I couldn’t even cut them with a serrated knife.  for waiter was kind and brought me a replacement of calamari. Unfortunately, the calamari was overcooked and like rubber as well. Will probably try again another time and hope that it was just a one time issue with the meals as we’ve never experienced this type of meal in the past at The Station House.
