The Summerhouse is situated on the Grand Union Canal only a stone's throw away from our famous Waterway restaurant in Little Venice. We can't control the weather but we can offer you that holiday feeling whilst dining, overlooking the water and enjoying our crisp Rosé wines, Summer salads and the best fish and chips in town.

Very good service on a very busy day. Fish dishes slightly overcooked, but all in all a very pleasant lunch in a wonderful setting.

The restaurant did not have our reservation when we arrived- luckily they did have a free table for 4 since it wasn't peak time. They said they had stopped working with OpenTable, even though we did have a booking confirmation secured by credit card for the no-show fee. The food was good although not as nice and well prepared as we remembered from previous visits.

It was ok. It wasn’t the worst but definitely wasn’t the best, and I expected a lot better. We asked to be moved as our reserved table was in a bad spot by the bar and kitchen door table, and on top of others. Portions were big - especially the risotto - but lacked seasoning and hardly any prawns in it so not good value. The clam chowder was watery with large lumps of hard potato. I’d consider going again but it’s definitely not on the “must go back” list unfortunately.

Beautiful meal, but sat next to a very noisy family. While I have no issue at all with children in a restaurant the parents made no effort to stop the kids shouting. We had saved hard to eat in this restaurant for a special occasion and it was spoiled by the selfish attitude of others. Really disappointing as the food was stunning

A beautiful setting for lunch. There was a lovely ambience, the staff were friendly and attentive and the food was tasty. Very much enjoyed the sharing platter. There was no rush. We were made to feel at home and enjoy our meal.
