    Birthday lunch. Nice birthday welcome too. We went for the Wednesday burger offer. Cheeseburgers and Stilton burger. Burgers were very tasty. Lovely Christmas vibes. Although the menu here has changed and is more limited to how I remember it.

    Excellent haddock and chips. It's just the best. The service was efficient and friendly. Not entirely happy about the 10% service charge levied on all customers. I did pay it, but I'd rather this was incorporated into the price of the meal. Gratiouities should be at the discretion of the customer.

    This is the second time we’ve had a midday meal at the Swan. We ordered the avocado and poached egg on toast with bacon and mushrooms, unfortunately both times we found the eggs to be hard and the meal was lukewarm. So we’re not sure if we will give it another go.
