   The staff was very friendly and knowledgeable. The decor was a beautiful step back in time and at the same time vibrant, not stuffy. It was difficult narrowing the menu to just one sitting. Will have to go back a few times to sample the whole menu. Absolutely delicious!

   The Washington House is always a great experience but yesterday was exceptional. I usually get the duck there - Loved every recipe through the years and really enjoyed last night

   Always stay here and make it a habit to dine here as well when in the area on business trips. Not a run of the mill menu, always fresh and varied. Bar service is always on their game too. Quiet dining area or sit in the bar booths (I prefer). The atmosphere beats the cookie cutter dining choices you normally have. Relax & enjoy.

   What a treasure. Warm antique bar area with a friendly bartender, Jess. All of the staff, from the bus girls to the wait staff were so happy and helpful. The little gem salad was excellent. We were planning on the filet but decided on burgers after we saw some delivered to the table next to us. It was an excellent choice, they were perfect. Will definitely be back!

   I wish we were seated in the larger diningroom and not near the bar. If I'm paying over $100 for meals and cocktails I'd like a table with a table cloth. Overall it was very nice.

   I ordered the braised short ribs. Wow, they were so tender and flavorful. They absolutely melted in your mouth, didn't even need a knife. My wife had the Filet, she said it was lights out fantastic. Two days later she was still raving about the reduction sauce.

    We were a party of four, celebrating our wedding anniversary. The food and service were excellent, as always. We were pleasantly surprised with a free dessert for my wife and I, and also we were presented with a personalized souvenir menu! The Washington House food is consistently excellent, we usually go there before seeing a show at the Sellersville Theater. I highly recommend it! Thanks for a memorable anniversary celebration!
