Went for New Years Eve dinner. Had an 8 pm reservation. It was very crowded and waited until 8:30 to be seated. Not awful considering a holiday. I was disappointed with the overall appearance of the restaurant. My seat was ripped and taped and sagging terribly. On the bright side the food was excellent. Service was extremely slow. Barely made it home for midnight! I wish they would do a makeover of the space. Has been the same for many many years and shows its age.

For a New Year's Eve, the food was good, as was the service, wait time, etc. On that level I was impressed. However, I just wasn't overwhelmed by the restaurant. We will however give them another shot on a non-holiday day...

We went to Thom Thom in Wantagh on NYE w/ friends. Been meaning to try this place for awhile. Our waiter was very nice but the service was disorganized. I will blame it on NYE but a really good restaurant would not have been this bad. Our cocktails took too long a time to arrive. We all ordered steaks which were brought out before our appetizers and they had to bring them back. Our waiter assured us we’d get freshly made steaks when later served. When we did get our steaks they were all extremely salty. Tasted like half a salt shaker was used😝they were also very thin, not what you’d get in a steakhouse. People were ordering sushi which looked good. Is The waiter comped our 2 cocktails and 2 sodas for the bad service which was very nice. The place was very noisy and the ambiance wasn’t good

We have gone to Thom Thom every year on New Years Eve for the past four years. The food has always been delucious but this year the steak was overcooked and too salty and the chicken was also overcooked, very dry and too salty. We had to wait almost an hour for our food to arrive. We were seated around 6 but did not leave until after 8 because of how long it took to get our entrees, dessert and the bill. Our waiter was wonderful but the kitchen was very slow in getting the food out. I'm not sure if we will be returning next year.

Food good but horrible service. Can maybe excuse it if the restaurant was busy but it wasn’t. When you have to finally ask for more water after waiting for about 20 minutes that says it all…

Very crowded but not too noisy. Comfortable seating, tables spaced well. We had a striped bass special that was fresh and tasty, and a delicious coconut martini that tasted like a straight up pina colada. Always a good meal at fair prices and not impossible to get a reservation even at popular times.

I ordered chicken and it was not cooked it was red. Kids food was cold fries and cheeseburger I never complained but I could not eat raw chicken so I I did not eat At all I was shocked what they severed . The waiter advised they were understaffed so they just took off the bill obviously bc I could not even eat it
