    We decided to make a reservation at the Tom Ham Sunday brunch for my mother’s 71st birthday after watching several vlogs on YouTube. Unfortunately, it was a disappointing culinary experience. The lobster claws were dry and some were still frozen. The stone crab claws weren’t worth the effort it took to get the meat. The prime rib was so dry and tough that my nephew could have used it as a hockey pock. The fried chicken was dry as well, it tasted like it had been re-fried several times. The oysters were okay. The saving graces were the pesto pasta cooked with toppings like scallops and ham, the raw scallops, the snow crab legs, and the seared yellowtail. Soda isn’t included in the buffet price. We had a good server but there were times we needed to ask for our plates to be taken or waste bowls be emptied. There is a 5% surcharge added to each check and another 18% gratuity for parties of 8 or more. You do get a nice view of the harbor so come a bit early to take pictures. I’m glad I went there for the experience, but I won’t be going back anytime soon.

    This iconic restaurant is amazing. Great location and stunning views. Impeccable service, delicious food, and ample charm. Friendly staff and lots of free parking. Highly recommended!

    A place you really need to experience in San Diego. The view is great, the service was very good plus some really outstanding menu choices that include multiple oyster dishes. If you want oysters you need to go there. And if not you still have several opportunities for really great seafood offerings.
